This weekend was a rather interesting weekend. Friday night and Saturday morning the boys and I went to the narrows and camped out for a fathers-sons camp out with the ward. I was a rather low key affair and was a rather pleasant time, at least for me. I think all the boys had a good time too. While we were there Wife and daughter had a girls night and watched a girly movie and ate out. Saturday morning the boys found a little snake and had a good time playing with it. Saturday afternoon wife and kids went with some friends (Kenningtons) to the South end and went Crawdad hunting. They got a big bunch and came back and Dave and Tiff boiled up the Crawdads for a little party. Sparky and G-man wanted to have a Crawdad for a pet so they gave us a couple of the smaller ones. You can tell the Sparky and G-man are your All-American type boys. They played guns and ran around having one good ol' time. Linc is going to have his first football game on Thursday. He will likely play tight end (dad called him a loose end in a video we have of him with Linc at three months old) and defensive end. Holl won't be taking dance this year. She will concentrate on music and track.

Wow and Yuk! Your kids are having quite varied experiences. Most of them can only be had here or places like here. I'm sort of sorry for city kids. I say sort of, because I don't really want them all to come to the country and have experiences here. Just a few, in the spirit of now I'm here no more people should come and ruin it.
