Noooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I come home from slaving away at work and drag myself to the kitchen when what horror is casually tossed on the counter like a worn out piece of sisal baling twine but eight inches of Holl's hair! Staggering to the front room I inquire of Wife as to what evil has transpired and she flippantly replies that Wandering Granny has chopped off our daughters golden tresses. Imagine my consternation, never before has such a traumatic event transpired against those silken cords. Well... after the shock and awe passed and I had a chance to view the carnage... it really wasn't that bad. In fact I must admit it looks, dare I say it... better!

I call this photo: 1 & 5 -the first and the last-

Picture of 1 & 5 sure gave me a giggle!! Be glad that H didn't get a haircut from me, I would have made a mess. My girls would run and hide whenever I had a pair of scissors in my hand to trim their bangs.

I'll have to admit that the hair thing would be upsetting. At least it wasn't cut to the shoulders. Linc & Leenie look like they have the right idea sleep.

Yup, I'm the who cut and trimmed the golden trusses! That was fun! I think it looks quite nice. The first and last kids look quite comfortable! I was told today by one of your neighbors as the 2 of them played in your big puddle in the driveway, that you have the best puddle on the whole street!
Love, Wandering Granny

I hope you have recovered, I know these things can be devastating, Just be glad she didn't cut it all off. Last year a little girl at Osmond cut her long hair off to about 2 inches to donate to some charity where they make wigs for little girls who have lost their hair for one reason or another. What a shock! However, it is only hair and it grows back. Love the photo of Linc and Leenie! It's amazing the growth that can be accomplished in 15 years!

*gasp* It looks... it looks... AMAZING!!! Holl, you should get a weave like mine. People would start confusing us as sisters again!!! Cute with Link. However intimidating he looks, to me, it just proves we all have a soft side.
