A few weeks ago a friend of mine from work was talking about a cycling event she was involved in and said that they were trying to come up with a design for the shirt. She asked me if I could think of a design and said that the theme was "rock the C.A.S.V.A.R.", C.A.S.V.A.R. standing for Cycling Association of Star Valley Annual Ride. Well many of you may remember the 80's hit by the Clash "Rock the Casbah". Well I got to thinking and this is what I came up with and they decided to go with my design. I didn't get payed for it but I did get lunch for me and the family (all the ones who weren't totally embarrassed at getting to eat lunch while having not ridden in the event) and two t-shirts with the logo on it. The Egyptian characters spell out casvar and the year 2008. I am flattered that they used my design and can now say that I have had a graphic design "published". I know that a casbah is more of an Arabic thing than an Egyptian thing but it Is a North African fortress so it's close.

Cool!!! Your family should have feasted proudly and worn signs that said "My dad drew your logo!" Is this the ride I read about in the paper?
That is so cool. You did an excellent job on the shirt and the hieroglyphics were just the right touch.
Yes, wyo sis it was the ride that was in the paper.
My goodness that is way cool! I love it! Please feel free to brag anytime. I don't think I would be able to come up with anything like that.
Such impressive artistic talent my awesome son-in-law has! Keep up the artwork. love to see more. I might even remember to take time to draw a picture for your 2009 calendar before we migrate south. Your 2 Lazy 2 M-I-L
