Track, Track, Track

It's been said that there are four seasons, well I agree. There's different ones around here. There's winter of course and summer between July 4th and the 24th and TRACK SEASON. Track has started with a vengeance. Yesterday the two oldest went to Presstown and will be either going to or being sad about not going to track meets until (sorry, I just had a destraction moment, I went to Monte-pealier yesterday and stopped into the local not-quite-wall-mart and noticed on the door that they spelled until with two l's. So I'm not the only one!) the end of school. This also goes for Wife with coaching said track (only on the middle school level). The one problem is that Wife and the two olders are going to be in different places at once and Wife won't be able to watch them. There's a home meet on April 11th so perhaps there can be some observing at that time.
*UPDATE*
The two older that went to Presstown had a so-so outing with the highlight being Holl having a personal best in the high jump (4'6"). Linc is again fighting sore legs and was less than impressed with his performance. The two that went to Rio Verde had a rather good time with G-man's team (four kids, 4th to 6th grade) winning fourth place. Wife had to deal with a problem child (from the North end of the valley of course) but other than that seemed to have a day. We at home survived with much sun and outside play all day.

It is hard when everyone goes in different directions and you try to be everywhere at once. I hear you. There were times that Al & I would have to divide and conquer.

Good luck to the family spectators, participants, AND coach in the different track activities. Sounds like a very busy "spring" for all of you! It IS spring here in Dixieland among the big red rocks!

How did everyone do in their various pursuits?
