History, music and meetings

Wednesday this week was interesting. At 7:00 PM we needed to be in three places at once. Holl had a band concert at the high school. G-man had a history fair at the elementary and Wife had a YM meeting at the tabernacle. G-man had the assignment at school to report on a person in history he chose his grandfather who served in WW 2. So on the appointed night Wife went to her church meeting and 'Leenie, Sparky, G-man and I went to the elementary to see the exhibit. Holl was taken to the high school by Linc who went on to the middle school to help a friend with his fathers eagle project. We (the history fair attenders) walked around and noted the many persons of history. There were many presentations on Walt Disney, candy makers, black people, mountain men and sports figures. There was two exhibits on family members one was our G-man's grandpa. The exhibit was between two sports "heros". We buzzed on over to the high school and watched Holl's concert. While there Wife managed to show up in time to see Holl's bit and Linc was outside the hall keeping guard. All ended well and the last number was "crazy train" by Black Sabbath. Ozzie was spinning in his... what ever he was in at the time.

Looks real nice. Logan spent time at the WW2 monument in D.C.

It looks beautiful. It has been a long time since I cried about Dad. Thank you for the job well done.

Sorry about the last comment being so short, but I was sooo tired that I went to bed early. G-Man's display looked real nice. Logs and his group was asked what they liked about their stay in D.C. by their bus driver. Almost all said the Holocaust museum. Logs said the war memorials especially the WWII and Korea ones. When the driver asked why? Logs told him that all of his grandpa's had fought in those wars and also his uncle was in Vietnam. So the memorials ment more to him because of that. The driver told him that he was going grow up just fine with an attitude like that. Logs 6th grade project was about Okinawa where Grandpa Alf was. He molded the island out of clay for his project.

You all are certainly very busy! And the youngest just follows the family with a grin on her face! It was fun tending her Thursday. G-Man's history project about his Grandpa S. certainly looks well done and interesting. I am eager to see it in person and have G-Man tell me about it!

I would have liked to have seen the display about dad. I'm not sure I've seen all of those pictures. May used to be the craziest month, but it's beginning to back=up into May!

Wow! I must be going crazy! May is backing up into April is what I meant to say. I think it;s nice to leave a typo every once in a while so that others can feel superior.
