The above picture shows the entire output of my strawberry garden which consists of many plants that fill up a 4' X 6' plot. I was hoping for a bit more production in the second year of this venture but it is a drought year. I picked them because something was eating them before we had the chance to indulge so maybe they will ripen in the fridge.
This is sparky's spinach that he grew in his own part of the garden. He chopped it up and added some baby carrots and ATE it all. Yes, my five year old grew and ate SPINACH! And he doesn't know he is not supposed to like spinach and I'm not going to tell him.

Who gets the strawberrys?
I never had any luck with strawberries, either.
But great news about Sparky.
How does he feel about the little sister?
You can have one strawberry Holl. Sparky is excited to have a little sister, for now!
Nature's bounty indeed! That June frost pretty much killed everyone's chance to grow a decent crop this summer. I had a beautiful hanging petunia until the heavy rainstorms of the past week. Living in Star Valley is a real character builder!
