the hiding place
We have recently started a hobby called Geo caching, it is where you go to a web site and put in your zip code then they show you all the places people have hidden "caches". Then you take a GPS unit and enter the coordinates and then go looking for the cache. Last Saturday we hid our first Geo-cache. It was up Crow Creek a little way past the ranch. We made it out of some PVC pipe. We put some wood disks in it that had our (grandpa's and dad's) brands on it plus some other stuff. if you were to go to the web site and sign in then put in our zip code then look for the cache marked "Crow Creek Cache" that would be ours. It is kind of fun and the whole family can get in on the hunt. Sparky likes the trade items that are in the caches. He has gotten a potato gun and other "neat" things from them. You would be surprised at the number of caches around. Angus is just happy to get out.

How fun! I'm glad you thought of it.
Looks like fun. Alleen and the boys did it at the GSL. They had fun, I was at work at the truck stop so I missed it.
Cool blog. Who are those people on there? Alf boy's family has actually found a hobby that all enjoy for one reason or the other.
Some like to hike, some like to find treasure, and others like the creative part of it. What a success!
'Geo Cash', isn't that the money put aside to buy a sub-compact Chevy? Who is hiding all these cars anyway? Is it another Obama stimulus package for the U.S. Automakers? :)
Take care. It was nice talking with your wife and boys last weekend.

Sounds fun and exciting to me! That would be fun to follow you around when you are chasing down the hidden treasures! Great activity for your very smart family!
