I thought that I should update you on the mother situation. Mom has been in the hospital several times in the last few weeks. She has claimed to be having a heart attack but they have found nothing wrong what so ever. They have kept her over night for observation and have run all kinds of tests on her but have found nothing wrong. Yesterday, Friday, I took her to I.F. to a heart Dr. (I had to because her Dr. told her to have me and not her hubby take her, which caused much consternation with her DH) thinking they were going to give her a stress test. Well instead her Dr. just talked to her and scheduled a couple tests for Monday morning, which her hubby can take her to. Why the change in chauffeurs I don't know but it may insure domestic tranquility of a sort.
She was worried about being able to travel to I.F., so much so that she wanted a blessing. She did just fine, in fact she had a wonderful time. She talked all the way there and back. She ate where and what she wanted, she told me all the things I'm not eating right and in general was able to talk to someone who could hear her and let her talk.
I have my own opinion why she is having problems but I will keep the diagnosis to myself. You may be able to come to the same conclusion that I have. I'm not denying that she is having problems but wither physical or otherwise I'm not sure.
Perhaps a call or a note would help her some. (very non-subtle hint to action)

I didn't know she had been in the hospital, but I do know what is like to not have anyone to talk to or anyone that cares around you. I suspect she has the same problem I do, only I don't go to the Doctor, Will she be home tomorrow?Let me know so I can call her then if she will be home.
I think she will head to I.F. Sunday in the afternoon sometime. Our sacrament starts at 10:00 am so perhaps sometime between 11:00 and say 2:00 PM
She told me about her hospital stay last week when I called her. I guess you hadn't gone to I.F. yet because she didn't mention it.
I called her today and she told me about her trip on Friday and that she felt better now and she really enjoyed her trip. I think that is what she needed more than anything. May be you could arrange a outing with her without DH once a month or so. That is really the medicine she needs. I know that if I couldget out once every 2 or three weeks that it would help me. I can go out when ever I want, but without someone there it is not very fun.
I concur with your diagnosis and will visit her more often.
Angxiety attacks can feel like heart attacks from what I have heard. What little I have heard about you sweet Mother and the stresses she has had to face it isn't a wonder if that is what she suffers from.
I hopr things go better for her.
Take care,
Spuddy
I have my guess why she is so stressed out. I can understand needing to get out once in awhile. I have had anxiety attacks before and it sure does feel like a heart attack, it is awful!
