Today we did a little geocaching. We walked half a block to the first one then drove to Fairview for the other. We put a cache at the little park by the fair grounds. We are all mostly well here and Wife is very much relieved to have been released from her church job as YW president for the ward. She has been the president for over three and a half years. She loved the job but it was grinding her down until she had nothing left. Finely she told the bishop how long she had been in the job and said she would do it some more if that is what was needed but he must have felt that three and a half years was enough.Saturday, November 7, 2009

Grinding her down is putting it mildly, she was a fine white diamond dust the summer she went to Laramie to school. Service is wonderful and her example is beyond awesome, but enough is enough!
I agree 3 and half years is plenty long. I was so relieved when I was released as Stake YW Secretary after 3 years even though I was the only member in the presidency at the time to be released. I had a lot of things on my plate at the time and I had run out of steam by then.
Finnaly! I'm happy she can have a break. She must have been super good at it to be in there so long.
I know the wife did an excellent job a YW president. I have heard comments from several people in your ward. I am thankful for her and for the husband and 5 children she was released, finally. Keep up the fun searching and placing for geocaching! Maybe it'll get more of a challenge when the ground, etc. is well covered with snow!
