As the ward turns

Well the chapel was less than half full again today and the overflow curtains were once again opened. However, Brother "mayor" wasn't the one who opened the curtain. He was sitting right behind us with his son and daughter-in-law and brother deaf-and-cranky was not heard from. I personally would rather slink in and sit in a vacant seat than make the noise and commotion of opening the overflow curtain.

'Leenie has had chicken pox this week and so I am home tending her. I'm afraid she may have several scars from this.

My best friend's sister, the one who was Big sis's high school friend, died last Thursday and her funeral is tomorrow. She had some life-long habits that caught up to her and was her undoing. In the last month she was trying to straighten herself out but unfortunately it was a bit too little too late. She was a good person and had a testimony of the gospel but was tied down by what she had done to her body.

Poor Kitty. What a painful way to go. I wish people didn't have to suffer pain as part of dying.

I remember Kitty. She was a sweetheart. I am sorry that your daughter has been sick.

I'm back. The connection to the internet was haywire. Even the people that provide the internet couldn't find the problem. I had several people come and look at the problem. Not even the internet providers could find the problem. They even sent to technicians over too my house last week, and they went down to the storage room downstairs and couldn't find the problem. One of the people from the ward came over and went down to the storage room and found the problem. The cable was tired. He unplugged it, waited a few min. plugged it in and, voila, it worked! I wonder why the "experts" didn't do that. I feel like giving them a piece of my mind, or asking to not be charged for the last two weeks! I really liked Kitty. We were good friends in Junior and Senior High school Even in grade school.Don't children get vaccinated for chicken pox now. Or do they wait until they are at an older age?
