Today is DW's birthday and also her family reunion. We spent most of the morning around the house and running to Auburn and back. Holl was playing in the band for the parade so we had to wait around for that.
G-man and Linc went down early with their grandmother. The parade was eeeh! Sparky raked in the goodies mostly because there was little competition. There were the usual suspects; VFW, drill team, band, old tractors, horses, fire trucks, etc..

We went on down to the old place and seven of the eight kids were there with their kids (24 grand kids). A time was had. There was much talking and playing and lots of so forth.

Sounds like a good time was had by most.
Little Mikey looks so lonely. I wonder why the parade was so sparcely attended. Maybe everyone was like us and didn't realize there was a parade on Saturday. We saw the empty floats of one of the parades in Cache Valley when we were between Franklin and Richmond, and wondered why, now we know. Wednesday is SOOOO inconvenient for the 4th why don't we fix it so it's on a weekend like all the other holidays? (she said with deep sarcasm)
Hey, in that picture of me, I was being weird!!! But I must say it was way too hot!!!
