4 and 3

Well, the season is over at least for the Freshmen. They played the Red Devils tonight and it was quite a game. Like Pi-day Dave said in his blog, high school and collage sports are much more interesting than watching millionaires who are only in it for the cash. It went back and forth and with less than two minutes to go the "Native American Young Men" were down by seven points when they were able to get in for a touchdown. They could have gone for the two point conversion and the win or a point after attempt for the tie. They went for the point after and tied the game. The N.A.Y.M. got the ball back and after a spectacular 30+ yard pass reception by #82 they were within field goal range. The kicker/quarterback had some great kicks in the game but unfortunately this field goal attempt wasn't one of them. They went into overtime and each team got four downs to go ten yards and score. Well they did. Each team scored six points with the Mephistopheleses trying to get a two point conversion and failing and the Variants trying a point after but failing as well. In the second overtime the Courageous ones went first and scored but again the point after failed. Then it was the Scratches turn and on the second try the Intrepids intercepted the pass and the game ended with a win. By the way the Brave young man who intercepted the pass was named Alex I call him "Alice" because he has the same last name as a certain shock rock star. This last doesn't really matter much to you I'm sure but it does to him and his family. Aaaaaaaanyway, they won and ended up with a winning season of 4 and 3. This was apparently the first time in ten years that the local high school freshmen football team had a winning season.

No baby yet.

That's AWESOME!!! Congrats to the player and the proud parents. As for the other news...

Dang I was hoping the lack of updates was because you were busy at the hospital. Guess it's time for a 4 wheeler ride up to the spring and hot-n-spicy chili for dinner when you get back.

I love the synosyms, it's too bad we don't all work harder to vary our language. Your reporting style is very compellilng. Have you considered a career in sports reporting? Sorry about the baby, poor poor Tracey. I had a dream last night that I had a baby! Yipe!!!!! This baby had better come soon so I can get some nightmare free sleep.

If you have comment moderation going the least you could do is correct my spelling and typo's! How lame am I? I hope you don't show my comments to the school district.
