The little Dutch girl has finely arrived!
'Leenie has joined our family. She arrived at 5:00 PM on Thursday October 18, 2007. She weighed 9lbs 13ozs and is 22.5" long. She had to be encouraged to show up after being eleven days late. Wife thought she would never get here and had some suspicions about it being today but when her water broke at about 2:00 PM it became a done deal. We decided to spell her name phonetically and not how the Dutch would spell it. It makes perfect sense in Dutch how they spell it but it would only cause her much grief in school and through out life with the correct spelling. The name means "little girl" in Dutch perhaps a misnomer from the beginning.

Yay for Mysha Alleen! I can't believe she is so big, because Tracey never really looked pregnant. She looked like she had a basketball under her shirt, but it never got lower than her waist that I saw. That's a good long ways for a little girl to go to get born. By the time I had Ashlee, she was dragging her knuckles on the ground, and I was thinking of using a stroller to carry my tummy around in front of me. Seriously, congratulations and we are sooooo glad she is here and healthy.
Congratulations!!!! So glad she's finally here!
How does the dutch spell Mysha? I love the name! I am so glad Alleen's name will continue on. Congratulations! You can't fool me but I think daddies like little girls.
They spell it "Meisje"
