What's a good Politically Correct American to do?

  • If you don't vote for a woman you're a "sexist".

  • If you don't vote for a black you're a "racist".

  • If you don't vote for the war hero you're "unpatriotic".

  • If you don't vote for the preacher you're "not christian".

  • If you don't vote for the crazy Texan you're ... sane.

  • If you don't vote for the Mormon ... well... he is a Mormon you know, so that's OK.

It looks like it might be down to "the Black and the woman (or vice versa) verses the Hero and the preacher (look at what happened in West Virginia if you don't think Huck is running for vice president now)".

I have voted every year and in every election that I have been elegibale to do so but I may just skip the top contest on this years ballot.

Do you vote to save the lives of hundreds of thousands of Iraqi citizens and most likely thousands of American civilians or do you tell the Republican party that they have left you behind? Do you vote for a man who admits that the economy isn't his strong suit in the hopes that we have enough money to continue fighting terrorism or do you just say to hell with it and let the Democrats totally mess up everything. I honestly don't know if I will vote or not. Please talk me down from this paranoia tree I seem to be stuck in.

By the way, how's your food storage comming along?

PS. my spell-check doesn't seem to be working so sorry for the spelling errors.

I know what you are feeling. I am asking myself the same questions. It is looking like I will sit this one out.

Is this the time it has been prophesied that the constitution would be hanging by a thread? I say use your gut feeling this time around when voting. The *#@@ with what a good Politically Correct American thinks.

This election year really has me worried to. If Mccain chooses Huck for vp. I don't know what I'll do.

I'm writing in Romney. That way I vote, and I vote for someone I can support, and hopefully I send a message. I'm told that will be the same a a vote for the Dem but I'll risk it just to avoid being railroaded by my party into voting for what I don't believe. To heck with pragmatism!

The thumb is absolutly freakin' adorable. As for the politics talk... it's been a very strange nomination. Huckaduck is an a** and has done everything he can to screw the "mormon". Also he has a man crush on McHero and is running for vice pres. I hope it all bites him in the keister!

Wyo sis has the right idea. Vote, but write in Romney. Or vote, but don't vote for the pres candidate, just vote for senators and representatives. But vote.
