I suppose I should write a bit here since it has been a few days. The friends from Utah were up today, we worked on Oggie and had a weenie roast in the back yard. They just sent their 2nd boy on a mission to NY,NY Mandarin speaking. Not much is going on here, we are having a nice, fast summer. The family is heading South this next week some time, as some of you know. It's fair week here and I plan on not going to any of it except perhaps Wednesday between 4:30 and 6:00 when our congressional Representative will be walking around. I would like to bend her ear a bit so maybe I'll wander over there.

She (our rep) wrote me a very nice letter when I thanked her for voting against "cap &trade" I must be on her list because I get updates every so often. She is against universal health care too. I'm glad this (health care) isn't another waltz with Barak. Maybe this will slow him down. I think people are alarmed at what he's done to our country, and we're all aware of the mess other countries with government health care are in. Us old folks have a lot of political power when we get together on an issue. We're not about to trade the broken but useable Medicare system for a total mess that will take our limited goodies away.
Bend away, I've email all of our reps, and senators about the health care and Supreme Court. Not that it made a difference, but I let them know how I felt.
Hey what sizes do Mikey and Mysha wear? Shirts, pants, shoes; I took the kids shopping and now I am making them clear out an old shirt for a new shirt. If there is anything that is in good condition still and will fit I will save them for ya.
