Linc went back to Rocky Springs today to compete in a Junior Varsity track meet. he just called and said that he got first in the high jump (5' 6"). He also placed in the 110m hurdles (19 seconds) and competed in the long jump (17'+). Because of weather they canceled the rest of the meet and he didn't compete in the triple jump.
I know that I brag on my kids a lot but when they deserve recognition I'll be there to give it.

Yea Linc! I myself placed in the nap jump. 37 seconds from front door to jumping in bed for a nap. I'm modest about it, I don't want to be the cause of jealousy. I can also jump to conclusions in record time. You should see me run when people expect me to cook. Zero to Taco Time in 5 and a half minutes. I don't like to brag on myself, but I can jump over an administrator's head in a single bound and my attention span is faster than a speeding bullet. (groan) I think I exceeded the 3 sarcastic minimum. Of course I love to hear about your kids and athletics, it makes me think of dad and how proud he would be. (lump in throat) Love to all
